Castle Square

An early picture c.1860-1879. Castle Square (as it was then - now Castle Square is between McDonald's and the Castle). Viewed from the top of Caer Street looking towards Wind Street. The buildings in the middle of the road were known as 'Island House' and these were demolished in 1880.
